Private Tango Classes — All Levels, By Appointment

Whether you are completely new to tango, returning after a break, or looking to refine your technique and dancing, our private classes offer focused tuition tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Private lessons allow us to work closely on the areas that matter most to your development — including posture, balance, walking, connection, embrace, coordination, pivots, musicality, partner communication and the technical understanding of how tango works.

Lessons are suitable for individuals or couples and can be adapted to all levels, from absolute beginners through to experienced social dancers.

Private classes are available by appointment, offering greater flexibility and the opportunity to learn at your own pace in a supportive and relaxed environment.

Add the elegance, energy and connection of Argentine Tango to your special event.

Tango Sur Dance School is available for private and corporate events, weddings, birthdays, community celebrations and social functions.

Depending on the occasion, we can provide a professional tango performance, a fun introductory lesson for guests, or a combination of both. Our presentations can be tailored to suit the style, size and atmosphere of your event — from an elegant wedding reception to a relaxed birthday celebration or corporate gathering.

An interactive tango experience can also be a wonderful ice-breaker, encouraging guests to connect, participate and share something memorable together. No previous dance experience is required.

With many years of experience teaching and promoting Argentine Tango in the Sutherland Shire and Wollongong, we bring a warm, professional and engaging approach to every occasion.
